Steven S. Bloom, O.D.
Dr. Bloom graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1981, as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa National Honor Society. He received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University at Albany, in Albany, New York in 1976. Dr. Bloom began his first private practice in 1984 in Mamaroneck. He established Rye Eye Care in 1994. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Bloom practices family Eye Care with a specialty in contact lenses.

 Matthew Winkler, O.D.Dr. Matthew Winkler is a native to the lower Hudson Valley area, growing up in Rockland County, NY. He attended the State University of New York, at Geneseo, for his undergraduate studies, where he completed a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. After developing a particular interest in Optometry, he furthered his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry located in Davie, Florida where he graduated, May of 2011, as a Beta Sigma Kappa National Honorary receiving a Doctorate of Optometry and Bachelors in Vision Science.
Dr. Winkler has clinical experience in a wide array of areas including ocular disease, specialty contact lens fits, pediatrics, geriatrics and low vision. Dr. Winkler trained at the WJB Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina focusing heavily on the diagnosis and management of Ocular Diseases, most notably Glaucoma, Diabetes and Macular Degeneration. He is NBEO certified and a member of the American Optometric Association and New York State Optometric Association.
Dr. Winkler is very excited to be returning home to begin serving his community!
